Diane is a true bird-lover, gaining a tremendous amount of bird knowledge on her quest to create new and unique birdhouses. Her birdhouses are spaciously built to the specifications of most sparrows, bluebirds and chickadees, or other birds in the Northeastern United States. 

Diane tries to keep at least 100 different birdhouses on display. You will see a nice variety of her hand-made custom birdhouses on display in the store and on this site. Each birdhouse is unique. If you can't find one to suit you, Diane will design one based on your needs. Please contact her to discuss your custom options.

Inside Cross My Heart you will find Diane Rivers, helping a customer or happily creating another masterful piece of Cross My Heart magic. Most of the birdhouses are made for outdoor use with a clean-out door. If you prefer, you can also place them around your home for a one-of-a-kind conversation piece. Each piece comes with a custom label explaining the origins of the materials used and other important information provided by Diane. When visitors come to Diane's store and ask for a birdhouse, she is always quick to ask "What kind of bird are you looking to attract?"

This past year Diane's business has grown. her customers come back again and again, and are always looking forward to giving items from the shop as unique gifts, especially at Christmas time.
