Good News!! Pat Drum from Ginger’s Corner on Liberty Street in Bath, NY is closing her store, BUT she is coming here to my Wallace Store and SHARE SPACE. Two businesses in one. In this economy we must find a way to survive and HOPEFULLY flurish! By March 1st, 2012 she will be moved in, but may not be all set up yet. Stay tuned! We hope to have an open house when we know she will be all set up.

Green Molding Robin’s Nesting Box

The board I used to make this open Robin’s Box was in the pile of lumber I purchased from Ed Wight, primitive furniture builder, Bath, NY. The spindle is from a black chair. The molding is from the Olde Davis Hardware, Wallace, NY – now closed for many years. The accent mounted inside on the back board is a piece given to me by my Cohocton Hill neoghbor, Lori Ohlbeck. 13″H x 9″W x 8″Face

White Nut Hatch House with Red Roof

The white board that makes up the front and back were taken from the barn at The Estate of Fred Lewis, Porter Street, Prattsburgh, NY. The bed spring was given to me by Wayne and Sandy Hughes, Avoca, NY. The red barnboard came from a 100 year old barn on Cty Rte 7, Avoca, NY owned by Bill & Bonnie Goodrich. 10″H x 10″W x 10″Face

Blue Cookie Cutter Nut Hatch House

The front and back board that I painted oxford blue used to be attic flooring in the warehouse at Dr. Frank’s Wine Cellars, Hammondsport, NY. The half circle piece of wood says Reeves Pulley and it was purchased at The Yellow Barn Antiques in Pulteney, NY. The heart cookie cutter was purchased at Gibsonville Antique in Leicester, NY. This birch board for the body of this house was brought to me by Pam Southard-Park, Keuka Lake, NY while she was cleaning out her place to move to another. Clay’s Choice Quilt Square Birdhouse

The birdhouse is built with the oak wainscoting brought to me by the Wallace Wesleyan Church. I love and use often this color combination of turquiose and orange. The Clay’s Choice Quilt Square design really pops out at you. The roof may be white oak. It was shelving from the old Davis Hardware Store, closed many years ago in Wallace, NY.
