White Tail Deer Antler Birdhouse

This white tail deer was shot by my cousin, Edward Haff, in Franklindale, PA Dec. 1, 1964.  He has kept every antler rack of the deer he has shot.  This one is close to the first.  The other half of the rack was broken off.  This is a work of art.  The barn board for the body came out of Stan *& Joyce Apenowich’s kitchen as they remodeled last year.  The roof is siding that Mitch Parker, Bath, NY, brought to me.  The tin is from an old metal shed at my own house.  The hole is an inch and a half for Bluebirds, Tree Swallows or Sparrows.  It is about 14″ high and 16″ wide.  The depth is only about 7 inches.
